Peanut butter berry oats

Ingredients (1 portion)

  • 40 g rolled oats
  • 250 ml milk or water (or a mix)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 60 g frozen berries
  • 60 ml water
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter

 

Method

1. Mix the oats, milk/water, and 1tsp chia seeds in a small pan and bring to the boil.

2. Reduce heat and simmer for 4-5 mins, or until desired consistency reached.

3. Meanwhile, put the frozen berries in another pot, stir in the remaining chia seeds and 60 ml water. Simmer for 4-5 mins until lightly stewed.

4. Put the oats in a bowl, add a splash of milk if you like.

5. Top with stewed berries and add a tbsp of non-UPF peanut butter.

Tip: Tasty cold as well, so double up the portions and save some in the fridge
